I'm responsible for the referenced page (http://dmarcian.com/spf-survey/microsoft.com). I got tired of sketching out SPF records, following includes, and counting limits on my fingers. The tool actually queries the real internet for results, and shows the results to boot! The tool attempts to make it obvious to casual users why/when SPF records fail. In microsoft.com's case, it says "11 DNS-querying mechanisms/modifiers required to resolve record (maximum of 10 allowed)". Whereas it started off pretty simply, it has grown to show all sorts of nasty information & warnings. If anyone has suggestions to simplify, please do share! =- Tim _______________________________________________ dmarc-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://www.dmarc.org/mailman/listinfo/dmarc-discuss NOTE: Participating in this list means you agree to the DMARC Note Well terms (http://www.dmarc.org/note_well.html)
