Colleagues,

I believe it's time to send DMARCbis, version 37, to the IESG for
publication. I am aware that there are two active discussions, one about
the aggregate XML report format, and one about interoperability
considerations, but I think we should proceed while those are ongoing.

As a reminder, the document passed through a lengthy Working Group Last
Call that ended in August of this year, followed by an IETF-wide Last Call
that ran from mid-November to early December. The current discussion about
XML format started during the latter, and the discussion about
interoperability considerations started about a week ago.

The active discussions can continue. If they result in consensus of the
working group to change the document, we'll have to determine whether the
change necessitates an IETF-wide Last Call, and be comfortable with
whatever delay this will introduce in any case.

But in parallel, I believe the text of -37 has developed both working group
and IETF consensus to proceed, and so I am going to schedule it for the
first available telechat. This will probably be the first one in
February. I will reply to this thread once the telechat date is assigned.

-MSK, ART AD
