Forgive, I am tired and need to get some sleep but I have work in two
hours, that's not possible. I did not feel like getting into a debate
about it right at the time as I have more important matters to attend to.
@Daniel: I'd argue that it is only really necessary and desirable
precisely in that model, because the Git history holds all the merging
information otherwise anyway. But I really thought we were done with
this discussion some weeks ago…
