I used to own a 1066 (got ganked tho), great all around compressor, def would suggest.... but if you are looking for a really good gate, get the Drawmer. I have never used the model you speak of, but the drawmers I have used in the past at other studios are superb.

I'm just wondering about comparing like the dbx 1066 vs. the drawmer dl241. Which sounds better? is it worth goin for the drawmer... i've heard someone say dbx makes better comps, and drawmer makes better gates.. i haven't had much experience on drawmer compressors yet. if they were each at the same price which would you buy. thanks, Rob --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. --- Drum&Bass Arena Producers Discussion List http://www.breakbeat.co.uk You are currently subscribed to dnb-prod as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
