(it's the shizz nizzle, unlike other synths(sw or hw) it takes very little tweaking to get narly sounds out of it...i'm amazed at the amout of presets that trigger memories of past popular dnb tracks)

Hey kemist in miami, do you know a kid name Avi that lives in Ft. Lauderdale? hangs out with ICBM?

Very interesting. I live in Miami, FL (States) so i'll look for a local reseller here. Impressive. Any Recommendations on the Virus (good or bad). I usually try to use Software Synths but I *LOVE* hardware much more...

It's a synth made by Access... Very good for nasty DnB sounds!

Goto www.digitalvillage.co.uk and look in their keyboard/module section....

hey willski

i would forget the SB and just set it up like this:

virus out ---> usb 2x2 in A     usb 2x2 out A ---> virus in

midi kbd ---> usb 2x2 in B     usb 2x2 out B ---> emu in

by using the virus as a controller u can record knob movements etc, and it can talk to sound diver.

yes, the midi goes down the usb cable.

Subject: [dnb-prod] USB MIDI Question.

Ok so I bought a midisport 2x2 so I can use my virus and Emu with 16 channels each. thing is i'm not sure if i've set it up right and if i understand USB correctly.
At present I have the Midi in from my controller keyboard going to the in on my SB live platinum. the out from the card goes to In A on the USB midisport. then teh emu is connect to out A and teh virus to out B. IS THIS SET UP RIGHT?

OR does MIDI information go down the USB cable?

I need the IN & OUT of the Virus to be connected at all times ideally so I can use Soundiver.

Is there another way to set up the controller keyboard so I can play & Record sounds on the EMu and Virus, and have the virus connected permanantly for soundiver. I just cant get my head round it.
Easy,
Will
