Ok so I bought a midisport 2x2 so I can use my virus and Emu with 16 channels each. thing is i'm not sure if i've set it up right and if i understand USB correctly. At present I have the Midi in from my controller keyboard going to the in on my SB live platinum. the out from the card goes to In A on the USB midisport. then teh emu is connect to out A and teh virus to out B. IS THIS SET UP RIGHT? OR does MIDI information go down the USB cable? I need the IN & OUT of the Virus to be connected at all times ideally so I can use Soundiver. Is there another way to set up the controller keyboard so I can play & Record sounds on the EMu and Virus, and have the virus connected permanantly for soundiver. I just cant get my head round it.
