The only backup type option I know of in Cubase is the Autosave option - which you can turn on and off in the General Preferences...If its on the autosave file will be in the folder with the original file as 'filename-autosave'. Other than that I don't know...But that doesn't mean there isn't a backup file - there could be one hidden away somewhere perhaps...

trying to load up my most recent tune in cubase, and it's giving me "this file is damaged, please restore it from backup". mmmmm, anyone know if and how this is possible?
