I think for that trick to work with two speakers, you would have to have only one
ear.  And that Uni-ear would have to be of exact equal distance from each of the 2
speakers.  Low frequencies have really long wavelengths, so the change in phase over
distance(wavelength) or time(1 period) is slower than high frequencies, no?  I may
be totally wrong.
