Which
card are you using ?
Unfortunately, at this
current juncture in time, I'm using my onboard CMedia CMI8738 (Soyo K7V
Dragon+). Yeah I know it sucks but the output quality is
comparable to that of the SB Live. I realize these are not
professional level sound cards, but as I said before, the track sounds great
when playing in fruity...so I'm just trying to capture that perfect crisp sound
in a .wav file. For this, the quality of my sound card shouldn't
matter. The sound is being degraded by the software...so I guess what I'm
asking is what is the best possible way (software-wise) to record something out
