any comments?

Im in the process now of strengthening my production skills by actually learning things like identifying notes, chords, and such.  The more I pick up the more shocking it is to me that I produced without knowing the most basic of stuff like how to write a chord progression or match the sounds in my head to notes on the keyboard.   Some soft synths let you choose frequencies by note (ie 60.56 khz or something equals C2) , and this has been monumental to me.  Im actually writing basslines while I eat my cheerios in the mornin then running into the studio(ok, my bedroom) to realize what I imagined (I know alot about sound design too so that helps also) .  This stuff may seem academic and hella basic for you cats that already know piano and stuff but for a self-taught punk like me its brand new and pretty exciting.
