The Midex 8 is wicked. I can scoot about in cubase like a thing that likes to scoot around alot and it never loses sync. Cubase sends a midi message milliseconds ahead of when the instrument needs to be played and then the midex then in turn sends it onto the instrument on time all of the time. But i do have to admit, i didn't like parting with �260 at DV in Cambridge. But it does have little flashy lights which blink on and off so i think it's worth the money. If it's timing your after, it's the droopy cheesey bits. It does feel a little tacky but once it's in your rack, you'll never notice it. Fuck, i should work for Steinberg.
