Where did you get the samples from? I've got quite a few similar breaks, but seeing the links that have gone round the list, I might well have got them from the same place.... I'll try and dig some out soon. Sounding phat though, hope you find your breaks...

Its like somewhere the sample got put through a lowpass filter and there's no frequencies that go above 10-12khz.
