i clip my dat all the time, so do the majority of producers i know, so long
as its just where the beats are you will be ok. When the dat plays back
it just slams 0db.


its all about "perceived"volume anyhow - you can have 2 loops each
peaking at 0db but one can sound a hell of a lot louder.


compression is your friend.  ;-]
