The Cool edit thing may work but in my experience (at least using a fairly old version
of Cool edit) the results will probably not be that good quality.. Some of the
frequencies will be cut from the vocal and some of the guitar will be fractionally
Audible...

Probly worth a go though..

I think this is one of those things that you just need to play around with til you get
some good results..

Subject: [dnb-prod] stealing vocals...

Ez people,

I've been lurking for a while now but wondered if anyone can help me out:
does any of you know how to tweak a sample so that you are left with the
vocal only and get rid of the background music? The music is an acoustic
guitar thats pretty low in the mix - I'm going to try using the first part

which is the guitar only, as a noise reduction file in cool edit, in a few

minutes but I don't think its going to work - any useful tips if it don't?

cheers,

Dan
