Title: RE: [dnb-prod] stealing vocals...

Do you have an analyser? If so, just analyse the frequencies of the guitar, and cut those on the vocal and guitar. I guess this is pretty much what you software app is doing. If your lucky you will have enough high frequency left to play with and tweak with a bit of reverb and echo to fatten it. maybe a slight pitch change of one down, then run together to phatten the vocal back up again. Depends how low the guitar really is in the mix.

Peace

Martyn

Ez people,

I've been lurking for a while now but wondered if anyone can help me out:
does any of you know how to tweak a sample so that you are left with the
vocal only and get rid of the background  music? The music is an acoustic
guitar thats pretty low in the mix - I'm going to try using the first part
which is the guitar only, as a noise reduction file in cool edit, in a few

minutes but I don't think its going to work - any useful tips if it don't?

cheers,

Dan
