Anyone ever put their bass or any other acoustic instrument through a filter box, synth filters or anything with cool results? If so, what did you try? I just busted out the old bass today. I was experimenting playing it through the external input of my Waldorf microQ. The signal path routes the external audio through the filter bank. I was getting some interesting results with a highpass with high resonance and drive. The tone colour was really warm and fuzzy, sounded very much like an analog distortion box. Anyone else ever do anything like this?
