What I need is advice on mixing down my tracks - especially panning / effects / mixing tips, how do i get a good drum sound / bass sound? etc, etc - at the moment i'm recording all the seperate hits (kick, Snare, Hats etc..) on different tracks then mixing down the lot into a stereo pair... but never sounds right!! Can anyone give me some real audio advice?
