just get an apropriated cable, connect, power on and be sure that there is no SCSI ID conflict.
i use one adaptec with a sampler and use my PC's internal SCSI CD burner (teac 56 something) at home, along with S Forge for Sample edit and a SCSI Iomega Zip drive for portable usage.

Subject: [dnb-prod] Emu ESi4000 & SCSI probz -->

I reckon this question has been asked to death, but I'm asking on behalf of a mate - I'm a software sampler activist myself...

Anyway, here goes - what's the proceedure for connecting the sampler to a PC via SCSI in order to edit samples and shit. He's got an Adaptec2920 and a 2940 - will any of these do?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Respex...
