Hi

Yamahas effects are no better or worse than Behringer (same kind of slightly
cold stuff - its not warm Lexicon) and digital compressors never sound quite
as chunky or warm as a dbx or a TL Audio but I would kill for one of the
new Behringer digi mixers...
I am so glad i bought a 650 Alesis Studio 32 and compressors and effects
last yr when I could have waited and got one of those ;-( but its done now -
it would be so nice to have a contained system like that and no racks or
cables everywhere. Drool

Damn.

i've been eyeing a yamaha 01v, but this is looking pretty tasty... even has
its own website, http://www.ddx3216.com
hopefully we'll see a shootout soon... i wonder how the onboard effects
compare, but this looks pretty nice. any thoughts?

joe
