I'm trying to figure out how sample rates and such work. To make things easiest, I'm working in Reason. When I change my sample rate in the audio preferences to 96k, the metronome goes at less than 1/2 the speed it should, and is pitched down. Both by the ratio of 44.1khz to 96khz. I don't understand this. Is there no way to make it work? I've experienced similar problems in cubase, nuendo, logic, etc. I don't get this whole sample rate thing.
