All the files you use in Reason have to be the same sample rate.. If you change the sample rate once a song has been loaded, you'll get all kind of oddness starting to occur.. I had one song where I did that by accident and Everything seemed fine except that the song was now at the wrong tempo... You can load a song up at the wrong sample rate but changing the rate once you've loaded will cause more problems..
USe Sound Forge Batch Converter to convert multiple files to one specific format.. (It doesn't come with soundforge.. It's a seperate download.oo Hghmm.. Oh, I mean product!).. cheers, Nick -----Original Message----- From: joe [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 14 April 2002 18:35 To: Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List Subject: [dnb-prod] RE: sample rate question, i think ... part 3 then, i dunno if you wanna hear this suggestion, but you might have to go and convert everything to one sample rate and stick with that... i don't even wanna imagine how much of a pain in the ass that would be, but it really lets you avoid the whole problem if you just always stick to one. good luck. joe -----Original Message----- From: Brian J. Yeah, I know what you mean. My problem is that the choice between the two isn't obvious. For example, if I've loaded a sample @ 44.1, then change my audio card to 96, I should hear the sample at just less than half its speed. But if I loaded up the sample when the card was *already* at 96, then it should work fine. *shrug* b ===== Brian J.
