USB 2.0 is gonna be a lot better/faster, but Firewire smokes it still. I've seen a PC with a Firewire card (around 25-50 US$) and its an awesome site indeed. Get a 7200 rpm or even faster drive and latency becomes a distant memory (SCSI is about twice as much per gig or close). Even PC laptops got fire cards for them, I think HP even lets you configure a new laptop with a firewire port already built in! Smokin' -B4P
