Do you get hum when you've got headphones going in to the mixer? Do you have the ground connectors hooked up both on your decks and on the mixer? At the end of the day, they're there to get rid of them hum, so if they're doing that OK, there shouldn't be any problems... However, I don't know if someone alse can answer this - is there a risk of popping the speakers, if hum kicks in with no grounding?
