A pure sine wave wouldn't have any harmonics. However, If you layer a
couple of sine waves at different tones, you can then do interesting things
with the filters and phase relationships of the two.

I just use a pitched down sine wave. you can use a low pass filter as well
to take all of the upper harmonics and leave just sub bass

Does anyone know where I can download a .wav file of the sub or a similar
sub bass sound as used by artists such as Total Science and Digital? Peace
out.
