High Contrast uses a PC with Cubase. We use a PC and no complaints from him or others about quality of our tracks. I've seen crashes on either system. End of the day I can see both points, but fuck it... you can have the best stuff in the world but if you're musical idea is shit then no matter of gear is gonna fix that. Big up the Atari crew ;)
