easy way to copyright is to get a well respected person to stand up for
you... i.e. give 5 tapes to 5 different people, being the lawyer/doctor/ceo
type, and make sure they will vouch for you. 8)

Subject: [dnb-prod] copyright issues

i know this one gets posted to the list everytime it rains, but i havent had
a reason to pay too careful attention in the past.

i've got a pretty extensive portfolio of hiphop beats and a few are just
getting to see the light of day. unfortunately, some of the others have
fallen into the hands of some unsavory cats with whom ive had a falling out,
and i fear that im about to get jacked. does the certified mail thing work
or is it just an urban myth? if it is, what else can i do to get these
fuckers copyrighted without paying a lawyer more money than the damn things
are worth? dont i have to send them to the library of congress or
something? (im in the us.)
