This isnt necesarrily true. I think this is a fallacy left over from the "sample and chop a break " days (ive never sampled a break in my life- I program em all from scratch). You can make dnb with just synths and drum machines- as a matter of fact, where do you think all those "sampled" sounds your using come from anyway? They had to have had a source, right? And as for Buzz not being for sample based music, nothing could be further from the truth- its a "tracker" meaning it evolved form the old sample-based computer music software of ages past. Call up the "Matilde Tracker" machine and you have a sampler", ready to use for your sample-based dnb . ;) ---
