The soundblaster Audigy is apparently quite good. It all depends on your
needs and if you are planning to expand your studio. Think about whether
you are going to need ADAT or anologue multi outs, DSP power or onboard
sounds.
You can pick up a good card with near zero latency for about 100 squid so my
advice is to buy a few mags such as computer music, future music or SOS and
see for yourself. Most people on this list all have different cards and
they will stick by their's cos thats what they know. but that isn't a bad
thing.

A good place to look for full reviews are at

www.computermusic.co.uk

www.futuremusic.co.uk

or the sound on sound website which details in full most soundcards.

Peace

Jimbo :o)
