>>> Does anyone have any good advice on how to write a good bassline?
This might sound unimaginative but every bassline they we've ever done has used the same sample :0
303 bassdrum. Sequence it fast for rolling basslines or slower for stabey ones.
We've used it on liquid tunes and the heavyer stuff.
