You know actually, Although Mackies are considered a standard when it comes to quality, I've heard a lot of people say that the tweeters are just a tad too bright. This is coming from several people i know who KNOW their shit, one of them being Oscar at Turnstyle records (I cut all my dubs with this guy, and I hold his opinion in very high regard).
Event 20/20s are very, very good and are also cheaper than Mackies. Just to offer a dissenting opinion of course. hehe. but yeah I'd tend to think that the more expensive mackies would be the better ones, whichever ones those are. good luck! but seriously, check out the 20/20s if you're still shopping around. don't limit yourself to Mackies because of name alone. :) ~Andy > -----Original Message----- > From: Big Mac [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Tuesday, April 01, 2003 5:26 AM > To: Drum & Bass Arena Discussion List > Subject: [dnb-prod] Re: Mackie Monitors > > > HELP!
