not died as in completey stopped working. died as in the low-end started to fart, which might as well be dead for dnb production. sorry for the misnomer. as with any product, different people have different experiences, just sharing what i've seen.

DIED??? yikes... I have some 20/20s bas kind that i bought used over a year
ago and they've been working great for me. I also have a friend with the
passive ones and they've been working overtime longer than mine and sound
good also.
