Ahh, that tricked us :-)
Ok, that error means one of 3 things,
1 dnews isn't running
2 myname in dnews.conf doesn't translate to the right ip address
3 Lastly dnews is running on the wrong port somehow.
So check if dnews is running, on NT use task manager and look for a dnews
process, on unix use ps -alwx | grep dnews
If it isn't running examine dnews.log and send us the errors you find, or
the errors you get when starting it.
Second replace myname in dnews.conf with your ip address just to make sure
it isn't the problem.
Lastly send us your dnews.conf and dnews.log if none of the above help.
