Sorry this wasted your time.
Basically I agree we got the behavior wrong in this respect. But I really hate
to change existing behavior as it always causes problems for people who
don't expect it to change.
I just double checked the manual page on adding a sucking feed and it
does say this is required.
When you say '...or at least warned me' where/when should it do this? Thanks
for any suggestions.
