What we do is use a mailing list as well, and the mailing list requires
membership to
post to it, so spammers have to join to spam it and they usually don't
bother I'm not totally
sure if this would work in your situation but it might.
Anyway there are two ways of deleting spam fairly easily.
1) Use the web admin tool http://your.server:7119 this lets your
browse the group and
click on 'delete' to delete local items
2) Use tellnews delete_subject support.group.name "spammers subject"
