Hi, could you try this manually and see which of these combinations work:
telnet nntp_feeder news-central.giganews.com 119
authinfo user mygnewsusername
authinfo pass andpassword
mode reader
authinfo user mygnewsusername
authinfo pass andpassword
And try this:
telnet nntp_feeder news-central.giganews.com 119
mode reader
authinfo user mygnewsusername
authinfo pass andpassword
And try this:
telnet nntp_feeder news-central.giganews.com 119
authinfo user mygnewsusername
authinfo pass andpassword
mode reader
I think this is a slightly grey area and probably dnews is doing the wrong
one for that system, once we know which one works we can probably
find or add a setting to make it possible.
