Hi,
There are various settings in DNews to control the command sequence for
authentication. Presently it is configured so most servers work with
authentication either side of 'mode reader', but some will complain with the
second authentication attempt and drop the connection.
Usually the setting -
suck_noauth2 true
will solve the problem.
Failing that, you can try 'suck_noauth1'.
If you are still having problems, please send us the error messages you see
when authenticating using the methods ChrisP mentioned below.
