This is an open server now and no accounts are required. I just want to stop
known spam addresses.
Hi,
Yes, users that are not within the required address range will not be
permitted access, but you should leave the default logoff rule as it is, and
permit access to all user (without authentication) as follows
*:read,post:::*:
And after this, exclude specific IP addresses or ranges from posting
1.2.*:post:::!*:
1.2.*:read:::*:
Remember the last applicable rule is applied, so putting
1.2.*:logoff:::*:
at the top will have no effect.
