Hi,

This problem results from the article numbering no-longer matching the
numbering on the old server.

This should be safe as the OS and system changes are only minimal (assuming
you are running the x86 version of NT4).

1) Stop DNews on both servers.
2) Copy the entire dnews directory to the new system, plus dnews.conf in
your WINNT directory, and ensure all paths specified in dnews.conf are
correct for the new system.
3) Upgrade (or install) DNews (this will not replace the configuration
files)
4) Start DNews, and test...

If you run in to any serious problems, you may need to use
    tellnews check_buckets
    tellnews rebuild_index
but this is unlikely given the changes are only minor.
