The log entry is most likely unrelated to the pull feed not working.
The onlyposts setting applies to only outgoing feeds in newsfeeds.conf, and
specifies that you wish to send only local posts to an ihave feed. This is
the default behaviour with sucking feeds. Ensure you don't have this setting
specified for the ME feed.
Enable debugging of pull feeds -
tellnews debug pull:
tellnews loglvl debug
When the server next updates using this feed, additional logging will be
generated that should help spot the error. Usually authentication or article
numbering is the cause.
Pull feeds use the username/password from nntp_feeder,
nntp_suck1...nntp_suck20 with the corresponding pull feed.
If DNews claims there is no new messages, you can use getold to lower the
article numbering.
tellnews getold groups.* 10000
