Upgrading should be a painless process. If you are using a particularly old
version of DNews (I.e. a version prior to 5.0), then you may need to do some
additional work to convert to the new expire system.

Also, if upgrading from a version prior to 5.6a1, you will also be switching
to the new activation system and should see

Otherwise, it should just work. If you are concerned with preserving your
existing spool, a backup is a good idea.
