This is unusual. Not using moderation or anything like that?
Check there are no .del files in your spool directories that could indicate the messages have been deleted. If so, remove them.
Then do a "tellnews rebuild_index". This shouldn't take too long on a small server.
Let us know if this doesn't fix the problem.

I have setup DNEWS on a Windows 2000 machine for Intranet newsgroups only. I can create, subscribe and post messages to the newsgroups however the posts never become visible.
The newsgroups show the number of messages there, but when I enter the newsgroup I cannot see any posts. It's like they don't exist or are hidden.
