Hi,

The disable_sender option is one of the more recent additions to dnewsweb. DNewsweb is not updated automatically along with DNews, so if you are using an old version from an earlier DNews version it will not have this feature.

I don't think that is the problem in your case, so check that disable_sender is not on the last line of dnewsweb.ini. I haven't confirmed if dnewsweb behaves the same was as DNews, i.e. ignoring the last line. Also check for spelling errors.

I have checked the source and that setting should do what you require.

You can remove X-User-Info with the setting 'post_anonymous true'
