Yes, install the new server using a new temporary key obtained from http://www.netwinsite.com/activate.htm
Assuming you are using a recent version of DNews already, you will have a registration code in the form N12345, and you will register using the 'tellnews activate' command.
When you are ready to transfer the license, you will do the following...
On the old server -
tellnews deactivate N12345 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(Change Nxxxxx and the e-mail to your real registration details).
On the new server -
tellnews activate N12345 [EMAIL PROTECTED]
That will complete the license change to the new server.

What is the best way to handle license issues with moving a DNews installation? The problem is that I have DNews running find on a box. I however am changing the newsfeed provider and newsfeed type. I am going from SUCK to an IHAVE. To do this however I had to get a beefier box. I need to keep the old box up and running while I set up the new box. The newsfeed providers stipulates that everything should be working when I request the feed so that they can test everything. However due to licensing issues I cannot have two instances of DNews up and running while only being registerd for one. What is the best way to handle a move like this? Can I just get a demo license and when I have finished register my permenant license from the old box? In the end I will only be running one instance of DNews but in the move I need to be running two.
Thanks, Steve
