Hi,
The rebuild_index should not renumber articles. I believe there was a bug in recent versions of DNews that caused renumbering. If you are using the most recent version this shouldn't occur.

Thanks Roydon, but this rebuild_index resets the article numering?
Accidently clicked in the gui on rebuild_index. Nervous fingers i guess. As far as i see now, article numbering hasn't changed.
