So I've got a KDE ascii desktop running. One thing I notice is that I
can't suspend from within KDE (haven't tried outside of KDE either).
I do have the various policykit packages installed though. Any idea how
to get it working or troubleshoot it?

Another separate issue is the brightness for the display doesn't seem to
