Now I have the following options:
1) Try to obtain something from xfce4-power-manager. I'm not ready
to debug the dbus nightmare. It might be that the package
dbus-user-session is necessary. But this one depends on libpam-systemd
and therefore is uninstallable on Devuan.
2) Rewrite /etc/acpi/libtn to invoke my own script.
I would recommend 2). Keep it simple and stupid.
Am I the only one with that problem?
No. ;-)
I analyzed lots of those laptop-scripts (Backlight, Power-Button, and
others) and gave up trying understand them. They are too complex, always
trying to support lots of daemons and desktop environments, and at the
end they are all broken, working only under some special conditions. :-(
When something is not working, I purge that bullshit and write my own
simple script.
