Your clonezilla backup will work on the new computer without the need of reinstalling the grub. One of the requeriments will be to have a hard disk with the same capacity (or higher) than the original. Otherwise yo'll not be able to restore your backup. Take account of this if you are thinking on a solid state hard disk.
