I agree with many things you say, but:

I would strongly argue that it isn't. Any time electronic mail gets
sent to folks at KAME, or to me, or to lots of other people, the hosts
on the other side get exposed to AAAA records or worse. There are
probably, without exaggeration, at least hundreds of thousands of hosts
that have been exposed so far -- and nothing bad has happened to them.

I've asked Randy explicitly if he felt that there was an issue here,
and the only issue he can articulate is a worry about cache
contamination, not a worry about hosts going ga-ga when they get
exposed to quad-A or A6.
