I think an even more cautious approach would be to run it for zones that are not currently served by AS112 (e.g. those in the locally-served zones registry that are not currently delegated to AS112 servers). Providing omniscient servers on different addresses (so, a different anycast cloud, but presumably with overlaps with the current one) and leaving the existing AS112 servers untouched would give us some field experience with zero jeopardy for existing assumptions about AS112 service.
