You mean the road to hell? ;-)  The ability to support DNS over TCP for
large packets...

Though, perhaps, if DNSSEC doesn't require TCP, perhaps we don't really
need TCP...  But as long as we are operating on the assumption that TCP is
a needed future facility, we should be working to make sure it can be
deployed by not choosing architectures that prevent its deployment. Or at
the very least, making very well informed decisions about what it is we
are sacrificing by those decisions.
