This is an issue that can be fixed only in the 
configuration of the server. See for example this:
http://www.radinks.com/upload/config.php
I think that the most that I can do about this is
to include a section somewhere in the guide that
explains this problem and its solutions.

This is a bug. I will try to fix it soon.

While trying to install the new package, I get
errors like this:

Errors were encountered while processing:
 docbookwiki
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code
(1)
A package failed to install.  Trying to recover:
Setting up docbookwiki (0.9-3) ...
rm: cannot remove `/var/www/books.conf': No such file
or directory
